Earth Day Awards
Earth Day is an annual event held on April 22nd to promote environmental awareness and protection. It was first celebrated in 1970 and has since become a global movement, with events and activities taking place around the world. The Detroit Green Task Force celebrates with an awards ceremony during Earth Month (April) to highlight the work of individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to environmental sustainability in the city.
We are seeking nominations for individuals who have shown exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication to promoting a greener future in Detroit. Nominees can be individuals, groups, or organizations who have made a positive impact in areas such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, sustainable agriculture, conservation, or environmental education.
Submit your nomination to recognize and celebrate those who are making a difference in the world.
