Detroit Green Task Force is committed to promoting sustainable living within our community. Every year we host Earth Day Awards Celebration, to honor local community groups and individuals who have implemented creative solutions to pressing environmental challenges. This event is an opportunity for all of us to come together and celebrate Detroit’s Sustainability Leaders.

 

This year we awarded 11 Earth Day Awards to community members across various categories! They were celebrated alongside their friends, families, City of Detroit Mayor Sheffield and Councilmen. We look forward to continuing to honor the work of the  community at the 2027 Earth Day Awards!
